Claremont Graduate University’s MFA program requires a high degree of capability and commitment. Applicants must hold a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university or a diploma from a four-year accredited professional art school before beginning the MFA program.

DEADLINE: February 1 (Fall Admission); July 15th (Fall Late Admission); November 1st (Spring Admission)

REQUIRED MATERIALS:

2. Portfolio 
   Please upload 15 images of recent artwork on SlideRoom. Performance and/or video artists may submit work that is no longer than 3 minutes in length.
3. Artist Statement 
   One-page (approximately 500 words) that addresses influences, interests, and current direction.
4. Letters of Recommendation (3)
   May be submitted via the online application directly by your recommenders; if your recommenders will not be submitting online, please review the guidelines.
